Out of Place at Restaurant

Tell us about a time when you felt out of place.

Well this is good question, that provoke funny answers. Actually I have lots of experiences about out of place.

One of them is when I was invited to had dinner from one of company at a seafood restaurant in Jakarta. As a matter of fact, I didn’t know who everyone will attend at the invitation at the night.

I saw there were many tables in a restaurant, I didn’t know where the table that I should gather and seat. So I asked to a waitress, and she pointed out her finger to the corner of the place without escorted me to the table. I walked to the table and I took seat and smiled to every one at around it. After two minutes I sat, I hear the topic of conversation was not like as usual topic. Soon I asked one of them to make sure whether was this a company that invited me? He said “No, this is a family”.

Oh I apologized to them and I felt embarrassed. That was I really felt out of place. Oh my God.
